The total amount of the contracts is equal to approximately USD22 million.

The joint venture between the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) and Borealis has awarded the three main contracts for the FEED stage of its Borouge 3 expansion in Ruwais, Abu Dhabi to Tecnimont (Maire Tecnimont Group). This includes the front-end engineering and design (FEED) of the multiple polyolefin units, the LDPE (low density polyethylene) unit and the utilities and offsite facilities.

This milestone announcement follows the recent selection of Bechtel as the project management support for Borouge 3. The FEED-stage will have a duration of approximately nine months.
