The installed TPE capacity reaches 10.000 tons/year with a 50% increase compared with the old site.

The sister company of Italian compunder SOF.TER. SpA, has recently opened its new premises, situated in the industrial and logistic estate of Guanajuato Puerto Interior, near Léon. The new Headquarters spread over an area of 15,000 sqm, and house the offices, the labs and the production plant within a built area of 5,000 sqm. The installed capacity reaches 10.000 tons/year with a 50% increase compared with the old site.

Founded in 2006, SO.F.TER. México is specialised in the production of TPE for the footwear industry and cooperates with the most important Mexican shoe soles manufacturers. Its products are also used by prestigious end-customers such as HH Brown, Timberland, Flexi.

Luigi Carfagnini, General Manager, is optimistic about the market perspectives: “Mexico has one of the highest growth potential in the world, also because many US companies are moving their production here. Now we have better technical, production and logistics resources than in the past, and we are ready to seize new opportunities in the manufacturing sector, from the automotive to the appliance industry.
